Donald Trump has been busy. He’s been picking fights, holding rallies, spreading lies on Fox News, and more. But the most troubling thing he has been doing? Maintaining a 55-0 record when it comes to endorsing winning candidates in Republican primaries across the country. Now, Trump is doubling down on our race and his support for our right-wing opponent Dan Cox.
Dan Cox is a GOP extremist who organized buses to the January 6th insurrection. Cox is a Trumpian loyalist through and through, and his agenda to “make Maryland great again” is really just an agenda to promote hateful, racist, divisive politics that would not only hurt our state but affect our reputation on a national level. We simply cannot underestimate the real threat of a Cox governorship in Maryland – and let us be clear: a Cox governorship is a Trump governorship. If elected Maryland governor, Dan Cox would destroy so much of the progress we’ve made on everything from reproductive and LGBTQ+ rights to gun violence prevention and public education funding. We cannot let Donald Trump and Dan Cox force their hateful and barbaric views on our state, and we need your help to stop them in their tracks before it’s too late.
