Each day we allow a white nationalist to be in charge of U.S. immigration policy is a day where thousands of children and families lives are in danger.

Hi Friend. I know this is a longer email than normal, it’s important. We need your help to end this administration’s horrific immigration policies by adding your name to call for Stephen Miller to resign. Please read the whole message if you can.

As I write to you today, an avowed white nationalist sits in the White House. He’s been handed total control over US immigration policy, and he’s using that power to separate families and lock children in cages -- even when it kills them.

His name is Stephen Miller.

The Southern Poverty Law Center just exposed a trove of leaked emails showing how Stephen Miller spent years peddling vile white nationalist conspiracies and spreading xenophobic propaganda to justify violent immigration policy.

In these emails, Miller trafficked stories from white nationalist websites promoting violent conspiracy theories, including everything from eugenics to "white genocide." He panicked about confederate monuments being taken down in the wake of Dylann Roof’s murderous rampage in Charleston. And he praised a racist immigration plan from 1924 that was backed by Adolf Hitler.

Stephen Miller is the mastermind of Donald Trump’s policy of family separation. As the architect of Donald Trump’s immigration policy, Miller built a system to keep people who do not look like him out of the U.S.

Some have shrugged their shoulders at this news. "We knew this!", they’d say. But the fact is, this is one of the first, hardest pieces of evidence that the Trump administration’s policies are actively driven by eugenics theory and concrete, documented ties to white nationalist organizations. We absolutely cannot allow that.

This year alone, under his direction, our country has already detained nearly 70,000 children and kidnapped thousands from their families.

The White House will try to protect this man. But they are vulnerable. They’re hoping that the outrage over these leaked emails will subside. We’re here to tell them they’re dead wrong, and we will not let this story go away. That fight starts with getting as many people as we can to sign on to demand Stephen Miller’s immediate resignation.

Will you join us and add your name to say Stephen Miller must go? There is strength in numbers — that’s why signing today is so important.

We’ve set a preliminary goal of reaching 250,000 signatures. That may sound like a daunting task, but it’s exactly the kind of widespread outrage we’ll need if we’re going to win this fight and remove Stephen Miller from the White House.

There are good people, from the Bronx to Iowa, from San Francisco to West Virginia, from Houston to Maine, who are standing up to Stephen Miller’s white nationalist views and hateful actions. If one or two or three of us speak out, we might not be able to get his resignation.

But if millions of us come together, we can, at the very least, send an unmistakable message that we want a United States of America that values diversity and rejects racism and hate.

Sign your name to join us in this fight. Together, we will defeat white nationalism, bigotry and xenophobia.

This is our moment. Our line in the sand. Are you with us?
