Gilbert Villegas has been a member of the Chicago City Council since 2015, and now, is running for a seat in Congress. In 2016, he traveled to Israel and pledged to be a steadfast supporter of the U.S.- Israel relationship. Villegas strongly opposes the BDS movement and will work to block its advancement in Congress. He is also a vocal advocate for the Iron Dome and continued defense funding for Israel.
