NEW POLL: Eric Greitens Up Big in U.S. Senate Race
St. Louis, MO – Former Missouri governor and candidate for U.S. Senate Eric Greitens released new poll numbers today indicating he firmly remains the frontrunner in the U.S. Senate Republican primary. The survey was conducted from May 2 through May 4, 2022.

In a match up against all other Republican primary candidates, Governor Greitens holds a sizable lead, 7 points, over his nearest challenger.

Eric Greitens: 26%
Vicky Hartzler: 19%
Eric Schmitt: 14%
Billy Long: 7%
Mark McCloskey: 5%
Dave Schatz: 2%
For voters who have a favorable view of President Trump, Governor Greitens leads his nearest challenger by a 2 to 1 margin, 34% to 17%.

Among female voters, Governor Greitens has a nine point lead over his nearest challenger, 29% to 20%.

Interestingly, Vicky Hartzler is the candidate of choice of anti-Trump Republicans. She leads this group with 17% of their vote, while all other candidates are in single digits.

For undecided voters, most signs point to them siding with the Greitens campaign. 53% of undecided voters are conservative leaning, a group Governor Greitens is already leading with. And a plurality, 41%, say they would be more likely to vote for a candidate who was endorsed by President Trump, another subgroup that Governor Greitens performs exceptionally better than his main challengers.

Respondents also were 49% more likely to vote for a candidate who pledged to vote against Mitch McConnell as Senate Leader. Governor Greitens is the only candidate who has sided with President Trump and vowed to vote against McConnell as Senate Leader once elected.

"Governor Eric Greitens is the only America First candidate running for the US Senate in Missouri. It’s clearer now than ever— even after failed, fake attacks from Mitch McConnell, Karl Rove, and George Soros— that Governor Greitens will be the next United States Senator from Missouri," said Dylan Johnson, Greitens campaign manager.
