It's been a week since Politico reported that the Supreme Court is poised to fully overturn the protections of Roe v. Wade and deprive millions of Americans of their right to an abortion.

Ever since then, Republican-led states across the country have been using this news as an opportunity to take their cruelty to new levels of oppressive policymaking and Mitch McConnell even said that a national ban on abortion is possible.

As co-chair of the Pro-Choice Caucus, I'm committed to codifying Roe v. Wade. The House did its part by passing the Women's Health Protection Act. Now, we need the Senate to act.
