Dear Fellow American,
Young people today grow up being told that their perception of reality is a matter of perspective. Recently, they are even told that women can choose to be men and men women.
This denial of objective reality—including a denial of an objective good—is destructive of proper education, of religious faith, and of free government.
Largely as an antidote to this destructive force, Hillsdale College is releasing its latest free online course, “C.S. Lewis on Christianity.”
Taught by Michael Ward, a visiting distinguished fellow at Hillsdale and a professor of theology at Oxford University, this seven-lecture course covers Lewis’s philosophical defense of an objective good and his demonstration of its fulfillment in Christianity.
I am writing today to ask if you would consider helping us meet our goal of raising $500,000 by midnight on May 16, so we can promote this new online course effectively, especially to young people.
Hillsdale produces its free online courses, as it does all its work, while refusing to accept government funding—not even indirectly in the form of federal or state student grants or loans. We are entirely dependent on private donations.
With your tax-deductible gift today, we can enroll tens of thousands of young people in this new free online course and expand Hillsdale’s other outreach efforts.
Please help us reach our $500,000 goal. I’ve included a secure link for you to make your tax-deductible gift below:
