John,
Last week's news — that an extremist Supreme Court majority has drafted an opinion overruling Roe v. Wade — was devastating. But we are not powerless. We can still fight back, and I recently told MSNBC's Chris Hayes how to channel our outrage into real action.
Here's the deal: There's about to be a runoff election down in Texas for a congressional seat held by Henry Cuellar, who sided with anti-choice extremists when the Texas abortion ban was passed and voted against the Women's Health Protection Act to codify Roe v. Wade.
Cuellar is running against Jessica Cisneros, a terrific progressive candidate who has a real chance to beat him and will fight tooth and nail for reproductive rights if elected to Congress. But with the runoff election just around the corner, we have to make sure Jessica and my friends at the Working Families Party have the resources to get out the vote across TX-28.
Can you split a $3 donation between Jessica Cisneros and the Working Families Party? It's down to the wire, and every dollar goes a long way right now.

The people of Texas' 28th Congressional District are ready for big, structural change and deserve a working families champion that will be on the side of working people; not the side of big money, anti-choice, and obstructionist Republicans. Jessica is that champion.
With stronger, pro-choice, working families majorities in the House and Senate and President Joe Biden in the White House, we can end the filibuster and pass a national law ensuring abortion rights.
That's worth fighting for today.
Jessica lost by less than 3,000 votes in 2020, so when we say every dollar makes a big difference, we mean it. Can you split a $3 donation between Jessica and the Working Families Party to help them reach voters in these next 15 days — and win on May 24th?
Thanks for being a part of this,
Elizabeth
