[1]Mark Kelly for Senate

Friends —

I have about 15 minutes of free time in my schedule today. I know that doesn’t sound like a lot of time, but with a schedule like mine, I can assure you it’s a gift.

And while I know our campaign sends a lot of emails your way, I want to take a few of these minutes to tell you about my decision to run for Senate in the first place — and why your support today is so important to our success.

The truth is: When Gabby and I first started talking about running, we weren’t sure what to expect. We knew that Arizona needed new leadership in the Senate — someone who would always put the people of our state first, who was willing to work across the aisle to deliver real results, and who would prioritize building bridges between the two parties — not burning them down.

We also knew we had some friends who would help us out. But when you’re talking about such a big campaign, we realized we’d need support from a lot of people we hadn’t met yet. Especially since I was making the decision to reject corporate PAC money.

You know the rest. We won in 2020 in large part because we ran the biggest grassroots campaign Arizona has ever seen.

But now we have a new mission: Re-election.

And right now, we have two problems. One, the polls are really tight. And two, Republicans on the far right are spending millions against us. If we’re going to win again, it’s going to take a similar level of support from people like you.

So, please:

Can you make a $3 contribution to my re-election campaign for U.S. Senate in Arizona? The amount you give isn’t as important as the number of donations we receive. Because it all adds up when we’re all chipping in.

Thank you again. For everything you do.

Mark Kelly
