Dear friend,

During Mother's Day weekend, I wrote to you about my son Chris, and our family's experience in the criminal justice system.

I'm writing again to ask you to support FAMM in their work for meaningful reform, especially for the EQUAL Act: [link removed] [[link removed]]

FAMM's work gives me hope. The EQUAL Act would fix a terrible and racist disparity in sentencing. This disparity means that Chris and I have been apart for 20 Mother's Days.
