Recently, we learned that Kevin McCarthy’s super PAC reserved an additional $2.74 million worth of TV ads to run in our district in the weeks leading up to the election. So before the week begins, I wanted you to hear directly from me about what this means for our campaign and personally ask you, if you can, to chip in a few dollars so that my team has the resources to respond to whatever attacks the other side throws our way.

We’re still six months out from the election, and the GOP has already spent over $2.5 million against me – more than five times what they spent at this point last time around. Now, they’re doubling down on their efforts by placing one of their largest buys anywhere in the country right here in Maine’s Second District.

After talking to my team, it’s clear that we need to be prepared to respond forcefully to whatever they throw our way. The GOP is pulling out all the stops because they know ME-02 is one of the most competitive districts on the map. With your help, we will have the resources we need to push back against their negative and false attacks.
