John,

As you know, I’m 100% committed to returning OUR President Donald J. Trump to the White House for four more years in 2020 because there’s lots more work to be done to Make America Great Again.

But I’m also working with my friends at the Republican State Leadership Committee to protect our conservative majorities in state legislatures across the country and ensure President Trump has allies in YOUR state. Because President Trump’s agenda is crushing the socialists in Washington, liberals are turning their attention to state legislative races in the hopes that you’re not paying attention. But these are where key laws – some more impactful of your daily life than what’s passed in Washington – about abortion, second amendment rights, education, taxes, and so much more are being debated and passed.

In addition to these important state laws that are at stake, we are approaching a redistricting cycle following the upcoming census when state lawmakers will determine the lines for congressional district. These will determine whether President Trump has to work with a Nancy Pelosi-led, socialist, pro-impeachment Congress hell-bent on investigating everything the President’s Administration does or if he’ll have real allies working to pass his agenda.

Let me paint you a picture of the worst-case scenario if we – the President’s supporters – get distracted and ignore state elections in 2019 and 2020:
* They pass new state tax laws to undo the Trump Republican Tax Cut
* Democrats win majorities in state legislatures across the country and begin passing anti-Trump legislation to undermine the President’s agenda.
* Socialists in the state legislatures gain control of the redistricting process making it more difficult for Republicans to win back the U.S. House.
* President Donald J. Trump spends his second term under constant attack from socialists and liberals who continue the unprecedented, never-ending politically motivated investigations.

We have to re-elect President Trump in 2020, but we also have to ensure he has allies in state legislatures. That’s why I’m supporting the RSLC, which is the only Republican organization solely focused on electing conservatives to state legislatures.

Look, I wouldn’t be sending you this email if I wasn’t 100% behind the mission of the Republican State Leadership Committee which is critical to President Trump’s continued success. I’m personally asking you to step up and pitch in.

Sincerely,
Sean Spicer

P.S. The RSLC team is up against major left-wing groups with millions of dollars and they’re the only line of defense for conservatives in the state. Please send an immediate contribution right now. ([link removed])

============================================================

What is the Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC)?

We are the only organization solely focused on electing Republicans to down-ballot, state-level offices. We accomplish this by working directly with Republican leadership in the states and providing them with resources, training, and funding. We have nearly 200,000 donors in all 50 states. The RSLC invested a record $45 million into state-level races in the 2017-2018 election cycle, which contributed to state-level Republicans maintaining 61 of 99 legislative chamber majorities, holding 25 lieutenant governor seats, and 29 secretaries of state offices.

Your support is critical to making this happen.
