To those who celebrated, I hope you had a fabulous Mother's Day. Today was a reminder of just how grateful I am for my amazing family.



These are indeed challenging times. But when mothers are up against the worst odds, we are at our best. When we don't have resources, we find them. When nobody else can find a solution, moms MacGyver something together and get it done. When people have nowhere to turn, they go to their mom.

In short, the phrase "necessity is the mother of invention", could never be more true. Mothers are the original innovators and inventors. We will persevere and come out stronger.

And to all of the moms who are worried about their kids' futures right now, please know that I will fight for you always. Brighter days are ahead if we work together to create them.
