Happy Mother’s Day to every Nebraska mom! Mothers
are always there for us — from the moment they find out they’re pregnant
or expecting a child or getting ready to adopt, every mom is making
incredible sacrifices to ensure their child has the best start possible
in life.

They’re there for the skinned knees, the homework, the tough
talks, and the triumphs and hardships of growing up. Even as adults,
most of us still look up to our moms and seek their help and advice.
As
President Ronald Reagan said, "The mark of motherhood... is a devotion
to the well-being of the child so total that it overlooks itself and its
own preferences and needs. It is a love that risks all, bears all,
braves all."

Thank you to all our moms out there who are mothering
well, and raising the next generation of patriots!
