Mother's Day Match Expiring -- $3,000 to Raise by Midnight

==============================

Dear Friend,

Dr. Vlatko Uzevski wrote to you last week about how he was inspired by Tetyana -- a mom who fled Ukraine with her son Arkady so he could continue his lifesaving cancer treatments. Vlatko asked if you would make a gift to help raise $10,000 in honor of moms and dedicated, resilient caregivers everywhere for Mother's Day.

With just $3,000 and less than 24 hours left to reach our goal, I urge you to donate now. Thanks to our Time for HOPE Matching Gift Challenge, every $1 you give for Mother's Day can become $2 in lifesaving aid. Please be generous for moms like Ukrainian refugee Tetyana -- and others fighting for their children's health and safety in places like Haiti and Indonesia.

Tetyana escaped Ukraine when the hospital in Kyiv where Arkady was receiving care for his cancer was attacked. "All the children were already being treated in the basement because the cities were being bombed," she recalled. Fleeing with only the possessions they could carry, mom and son slept in their car during their journey to the Polish border.

Arkady's health -- and life -- depended on continuing treatment, which he's now receiving at a children's hospital Project HOPE has long supported in Poland. I can't imagine the fear and desperation Tetyana felt, knowing that her son's survival was in peril. And I'm in awe of the courage it took for her to leave almost everything behind and go alone into the unknown to find the care Arkady needed.

Around the world, moms like her are doing whatever it takes for their kids, and Project HOPE is doing everything we can to ensure moms and families get the care they need. From delivering medicines in Ukraine to providing pre and post-natal care in Indonesia, your gift honors and helps protect moms and therefore whole communities. That's the power of your generosity, so please make your gift right now, when it will double in size and impact.
