| Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers today! Today and everyday, I am so grateful to have had a mother like mine, and to be a mother, and grandmother, myself. My mother was the foundation of our family and an emotional pillar during difficult times. I wouldn’t be where I am today without her help, support, and encouragement. The unending love and patience my mother showed me was an inspiration as I raised my own son. From affordable healthcare, to pay equity, to lasting economic opportunity, I’m committed to ensuring all mothers have an opportunity to raise happy and healthy families.
