If there is one silver lining that came out of last week’s devastating SCOTUS leak, it’s that young adults all over the country are suddenly waking up to the importance of politics to their daily lives, and getting involved as activists.

If you watch footage of the numerous protests around the country defending our right to choose, young people of all genders age 18-25 are front and center, leading the charge. It’s amazing to see!

It’s no surprise that this generation of digital natives knows how to show up, get noisy, make things go viral, and change the public discourse.  But historically, what they haven’t done is vote.

In 2020, that began to change after the Black Lives Matter protests, which inspired 1.1 million new young people to register to vote, most of whom turned out to support President Biden and the Democrats in that year’s election.

This could be that same kind of moment – if we seize the opportunity NOW to meet these young people where they are and make sure they register to vote.

No Dem Left Behind wants to make sure that each and every rally and protest in the country supporting Roe has a table or booth set up where marchers can register to vote on the spot – especially in red states where Republicans dominate, and reproductive rights are most at risk.

But recruiting, training, and organizing that many volunteers is a massive and costly undertaking, so we’re asking for your help to make it happen.
