John – it’s Robert, Elaine’s husband.

First, I want to say happy Mother’s Day to all the moms and mother figures out there. And to anyone who isn’t celebrating today, or has a hard time on this day, know that mine and Elaine’s thoughts are with you as well. 

I want to do something special for Elaine today besides the brunch I have planned –  will you chip in $25 or more to help me raise $2,000 for her campaign by midnight?

As you know, Elaine is a very busy person.

Before she was in Congress, she balanced owning a small business and being a mom. And before all of that, she was overseeing nuclear reactors for the Navy.  

So, every day I try to take a little bit off of her plate. Sometimes that means doing our daughter’s hair.

But right now, that means helping out with fundraising.

Elaine let me know her Republican opponents are getting attention from folks like twice-impeached former President Donald Trump, and that VA-02 is now thought to be one of the most likely House districts to flip in 2022. 

So I want to help Elaine boost her fundraising ahead of the primary election so she can show national Republicans that she has the resources and the grassroots team that it takes to hold her seat.
