From all of us at Ruth’s List, today we honor and celebrate the mothers, caregivers, and maternal role models in our lives, and reflect on the impact our own mothers have had in shaping who we are today. 

This Mother's Day, we are doubling down in the fight to protect abortion access and ensure everyone in our state has the ability to decide if, when, and how to start a family. 

In light of last week’s news that the Supreme Court plans to overturn Roe v. Wade, our mission is more critical than ever. We know the assault on reproductive freedom in Florida won’t stop at a 15-week ban, and we must continue to show up and ensure that abortion care is available and accessible for anyone who wants or needs it.

Ruth’s List is committed to electing Democratic pro-choice women at every level of state and local government in Florida who will fight for our bodily autonomy and reproductive freedom. In honor of Mother's Day, click here to join us and become a monthly donor.
