Today is Mother’s Day. I want to acknowledge all the mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, and caregivers out there.

My own mother persevered through so many challenges, and I owe my determination, conscience, and grit to her.

Now that I’m a mom myself, I know this is the hardest, and most rewarding, job on the planet. As a single mom, I struggled immensely - working in a gas station to support my son - but every second was worth it.

In honor of my mother, my grandmother, and all those who came before us, I want to wish you all a Happy Mother’s Day. I hope you treasure this day and all the special moments you share with your loved ones.
