Friends -

There’s a lot of conversation happening about whether or not President Biden should forgive some, or all, of students’ outstanding college debt.

So I want to tell you where I stand.

For me, I cleaned other Harvard kids' bathrooms, worked at a meat packing factory, was a reservist during college and then used my war money to pay off the $15,000 I had left in debt.

Others don’t need to struggle just because I did. So I hope the president forgives some amount of student debt, and I hope he drops the interest rate to 0% for current students and future students.

The price of admission for higher education should not be dependent upon whether or not your family can afford it.

Not only is the status quo morally unjust, but it stifles the potential of millions of bright young people who are either priced out of college or put their entrepreneurial dreams on hold because of crushing debt.

Like I said, there’s a lot of conversation about this issue, so I am asking you to make your voice heard:

Send a message to President Biden and Congress that YOU support relieving student debt and dropping the interest rate on current and future loans to zero percent.

Thank you,
