We couldn't be prouder of our Mom. And this Mother's Day, we want to ask you to celebrate her service with us.

John,

When our Mom and Dad decided to raise a family, they looked for a home with strong public schools, a strong sense of community, and strong values. And that home is Kansas.

We grew up with some pretty amazing opportunities. We learned from some of the best teachers in the country, played on safe sidewalks, and saw our neighbors as an extension of our family.

Our parents gave us those opportunities, and then Mom fought to give them to others, starting with her first days in the Kansas Senate and on to the governor's office.

We couldn't be prouder of our Mom. And this Mother's Day, we want to ask you to celebrate her service with us.

Will you show our Mom that you're proud to have her serve the people of Kansas -- and help her continue serving? If you're able, please, chip in to help Mom win re-election.

We'll admit it: We have at least one more personal reason for asking today.

We really want Mom to be able to kick her feet up for a bit and relax this Mother's Day. And giving her a scented candle and puzzle won't be enough to make that happen.

We need to make sure she knows that her team's fundraising is on track so she can finish the work she started.

So will you help us show our Mom you have her back? Chip in now, and help us reach our $5,000 goal today.

Thanks,

Molly and Kathleen
(Laura’s daughters)
