Just checking in.

I know it's been a tough week as we all wrap our heads around reports about the Supreme Court planning to overturn Roe v. Wade. I want you to know that I am doing everything I can to protect Roe v. Wade and the right to abortion–but I need your help.

I am talking to anyone and everyone in the Senate to build support for legislation to codify Roe v. Wade. Congress has got to take action–which I've been pushing to do with my bill, the Women's Health Protection Act. We need to build support, and that's what I'm working on.

But to put it simply, we need to protect pro-choice Democrats in the Senate in November–and elect more of us–to secure the right to abortion once and for all.
