Recent laws passed in Oklahoma, Texas, and Florida are attempting to outlaw abortion almost entirely amidst a SCOTUS ruling likely to overturn Roe vs. Wade. Meanwhile, Dem AGs in states like Michigan and Wisconsin – where pre-Roe, “trigger laws” are on the books that would ban abortion if the constitutional right to abortion is overturned – have said they will not prosecute patients or doctors if and when these bans take effect.
