I can’t overstate the importance of this moment. Just 6 months from this weekend, the United States of America will be facing the most important midterm election of our lifetimes. Republicans need to flip just a handful of seats to take back the House from Nancy Pelosi, and one of those seats is Florida’s 21st Congressional District.
That is the seat that I just announced I’m running in, and it means I’ll need to spend serious resources introducing myself to voters who have never seen my name on a ballot before.
I nearly gave my life for our country – losing two legs and a finger in the process – so you can be sure I’ll be fighting with everything I’ve got to keep serving our great nation.
