If Roe v. Wade is overturned, abortion laws will be decided by each individual state.
 
That’s bad news, as many states have trigger laws that will automatically outlaw abortion entirely as soon as Roe is struck down. Here in Georgia, reproductive care will be much harder to access, and the Republican General Assembly may very well act to outlaw it entirely.
 
 
 
That’s why it’s so important that we turn Georgia ALL the way blue. Because Hank’s district is in the most crucial part of the state, our campaign will be energizing voters for Democrats up and down the ballot and will play a vital role in wresting control away from the GOP.
 
So much is at stake, John. Georgia already has the second highest maternal mortality rate in the country. The number of women who die from complications related to pregnancy is going to skyrocket when the Supreme Court formally strikes down Roe, as Georgia women lose the ability to make the best decisions for themselves and their families about whether to continue with pregnancies.
 
Together, we’ve been fighting to turn Georgia blue. Now we have to ramp up our efforts and go as hard as we can. Will you help us mobilize voters so we can send Democrats back to Congress, elect Stacey Abrams governor, and turn the General Assembly as blue as we can?
