Following the recent news that the Supreme Court is expected to overturn Roe v. Wade, it has never been more clear why the Senate needs to abolish the filibuster and take immediate action to protect abortion rights.
Access to abortion should be a right – not a privilege.
Wealthy people have always been able to access abortion. If the Supreme Court overturns Roe, it is women of color, working-class women, and victims of abuse who will suffer. People’s lives will be lost.
We cannot allow that to happen, and right now it is up to Congress to act. So I'm asking you to join me today:
Add your name to my petition to tell the Senate to eliminate the filibuster and pass legislation that protects abortion rights and access to reproductive health care.

Republicans have proven they will stop at nothing to strip every individual of their right to an abortion – from restrictive abortion laws to attacks on Planned Parenthood to forcing women to travel extremely long distances or cross state lines to get the care they need.
Every person must have the right and freedom to make this very personal choice. That is why we must make Roe v. Wade the law of the land and protect the right to choose.
With the Supreme Court expected to overturn Roe v. Wade in the coming weeks, the time to act is now.
Please sign my petition:
Add your name today if you agree the Senate must act immediately to make Roe v. Wade the law of the land and abolish the filibuster to get it done with 50 votes.

Access to abortion and reproductive health care has been under attack in this country for decades. And if Roe v. Wade is struck down, 29 states – including Wisconsin – have laws that will immediately go into effect that make abortion access extremely restrictive.
We cannot allow millions of people to be stripped of their fundamental right to choose. Thanks for adding your name to my petition to join me in calling on Congress to act.
All my best,
Mandela
