John,

Something amazing is happening RIGHT NOW – the country’s first ever #MOMibuster.

That’s right: Moms, parents, caregivers, care workers, and leaders from across the U.S. are turning the tables on Congress by holding an online filibuster that works for us – a MOMibuster – to demand care infrastructure policies that work FOR families.

We need care infrastructure that works for ourselves and our families – and now’s the time to get really loud to win. But we can’t do it without you!

The MOMibuster is streaming live on our Facebook page right now. Take a few minutes to tune in and spread the word by sharing it on your own page.

The colorful graphic depicts a Black woman speaking at a podium. The text reads: MOMibuster - take the mic with us! Join us as hundreds of parents, leaders and caregivers take action to demand our elected leaders to build at care infrastructure! Mother’s Day Weekend. Saturday May 7 - 12 pm EST / 9am PST. RSVP at momsrising.org/momibuster.

Together with Moms Rising and the #CareCantWait coalition, we’re presenting this first-ever MOMibuster to be a space where we come together to build our power together and celebrate ourselves.

You’ll hear powerful stories in a variety of languages, from every corner of the country, all pushing for the kind of care infrastructure that works for all of our families.

It’s the time to amplify the voices of caregivers everywhere!

Tune into the MOMibuster right now on our Facebook page, and be sure to share the video on your own timeline!

With care,

Ifetayo Harvey, Social Media Manager

A gift to Caring Across Generations helps us change the way care is seen, valued and supported for all Americans. Your generosity is vital to our team’s ability to drive change. Together, we will create lasting change towards a society that invests in a robust care infrastructure — that means universal child care, paid leave, and home and community based care — because #CareCantWait.
