John, I wanted to share some of the latest updates on the state of the Pennsylvania Governor’s race:

Our next Governor will decide if Pennsylvania women have the right to choose — it's as simple as that. Our Republican Legislature will send a bill to the next Governor's desk banning abortion – my opponent will sign it. I will veto it.

But here’s the kicker. <em>FiveThirtyEight</em> declared this race a Toss Up — which is no surprise given that Pennsylvania is one of the biggest battlegrounds in the nation election after election. But the stakes have never been higher, and building up our team today will be a deciding factor for winning on November 8th.

Our GOP opponents are spreading dangerous election lies and pushing an extreme agenda — but they and their allies have already spent tens of millions to attack my record. We have to get in the game and keep our defenses up.

The general election starts in just ten days — and with the stakes of this race being so high, we can’t slow down now.
