Dear Friends,

One week from now, December 3, is #GivingTuesday!

#GivingTuesday is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, a day when all of us pull together to support organizations like NRCAT who are working for justice in our communities.

I invite you to donate now through #GivingTuesday to help NRCAT continue its national organizing work with a new campaign theme for 2020. You can make a secure online donation at [link removed]

Called to End Torture Together 2020 is our way of showcasing NRCAT's diverse faith partners, working beyond our theological differences to uphold the moral principles that guide our common work to end torture.

People of faith are called…
To compassion - to stand with those who are abused and oppressed;
To pursue justice - to ensure that all people are treated fairly;
To be faithful - to defend each person's inherent dignity and humanity;
To hospitality - to welcome all people as our neighbors;
To make peace - to promote repair and reconciliation that leads to a just peace.

Your #GivingTuesday donation helps NRCAT faith advocates work together to end the isolated confinement of 61,000 -80,000 people in U.S. prisons, close Guantanamo prison, reign in the rapidly expanding global armed-drones race, and ensure that the U.S. never again seeks national security by engaging in torture. Thank you for your generosity,

Rev. Ron Stief
Executive Director

PS - Your #GivingTuesday financial contribution will be doubled. Help us reach our $30,000 year-end challenge!
