I'm excited to share that I met with the Pensacola Navy League this week where we discussed the aviation expansion in Northwest Florida. I am proud of the growth of the Pensacola International Airport and am excited to see these great changes in Florida's First District!

Today, I joined "John Bachman Now" on Newsmax to discuss the fallout of the Supreme Court's leaked draft opinion on Roe v. Wade and the Left's increasingly violent rhetoric toward the conservative justices who wrote it. I also responded to the announcement of Nina Jankowicz as the newly appointed head of Joe Biden's 'Disinformation Governance Board', including her history of remarks on Critical Race Theory and bizarre TikTok videos.
THE MINISTRY OF TRUTH IS A THREAT TO THE FIRST AMENDMENT AND FREE SPEECH EVERYWHERE
This week, freedom of speech and expression have been put on high alert with the Biden administration's announcement to establish "The Ministry of Truth." This agency will exist under the Department of Homeland Security and purportedly combat misinformation through the creation of a "Disinformation Governance Board," led by 33-year-old Nina Jankowicz, a self claimed "misinformation expert." Jankowicz is known for spreading misinformation herself. Specifically, regarding the Hunter Biden laptop, Jankowicz said: "The actual origins of the emails are unclear. And disinformation experts say there are multiple red flags that raise doubts about their authenticity, including questions about whether the laptop actually belongs to Hunter Biden." As I have reviewed thoroughly on Firebrand Episode 34, the Hunter Biden laptop does, in fact, belong to Hunter Biden. Further, Jankowicz said, "we should view it as a Trump campaign product.”
Misinformation, indeed.
GAETZ COSPONSORS BILL TO ELIMINATE THE 'MINISTRY OF TRUTH'
In direct response to this heinous announcement from the Biden administration, I am an original cosponsor of Congressman Boebert's (CO-3) bill, the Protecting Free Speech Act. This bill would terminate the DHS's Disinformation Governance Board and prohibit any federal funds from being used to establish a substantially similar board. It is time for Congress to band together and stop the federal government from creating its own truth!
