John,
It is estimated that $400,000,000 is raised during #GivingTuesday. How much of that $400,000,000 goes to women and girls? How much of that goes to women and girls of color?
Will you tweet your pledge right now to support women and girls of color on December 3rd?
Here is what we know. Any winning strategy must center those who are most impacted. That is why we are asking you to make a commitment to direct your #GivingTuesday donations to women and girls of color this year.
We’ve spent time with our grantee-partners envisioning a country where all women and girls can thrive and we trust these leaders to shape our strategy. They are on the frontlines and forefronts of movements transforming their communities.
We know that women and girls of color thrive in leadership and life when they are afforded critical capacity-building resources. We know that the world has benefited richly from the contributions of women and girls of color. We will all thrive in a world where possibilities for women and girls of color are not limited. We need your help to make this vision a reality.
Click here and tweet your pledge to support women and girls of color on Giving Tuesday on December 3rd.
Our grantee partners have been fighting an administration that wants to undo the progress our country has made. Grassroots leaders are working to protect women of color from state violence, ensure everyone has access to abortion and health care services, and make economic justice a reality for all families. Make a commitment to their efforts on #GivingTuesday.
In Solidarity,
Ms. Foundation for Women
