It's been a tough week. The reality of the Supreme Court's abominable draft opinion to overturn Roe v. Wade continues to sink in and weigh heavily on all of us.

But I've seen incredible strength this week, too. Thousands of Americans have taken to the streets in protest, drawing huge crowds outside the Supreme Court and across the country every day since the news broke. Our resolve is clear: We will not let the fundamental right to abortion to be taken away.

And soon, the Senate will take one of the most important votes in history. As Senate Majority Leader, I'm calling on the Senate to vote NEXT WEDNESDAY to codify Roe v. Wade into federal law.

It's time for every senator to show the American people where they stand on this issue. But this fight is about more than the Supreme Court and the Senate -- it's about all of us. If you believe Roe v. Wade must be codified into law so the right to an abortion is protected, add your name here.

This is as urgent and real as it gets. The rights of 100 million Americans are under direct attack.

I'm going to do everything I can to protect abortion rights in the Senate -- and that starts with bringing this vote to the floor and holding all senators accountable to the people who elected them.
