Prioritizing their children’s health: Emily chose to give birth at a Save the Children-supported health center in Kenya because she knew she and her baby would get the care they needed there. She is grateful to the nurses who helped when there were complications during delivery. Emily named her baby girl Blessing because she feels her new baby is a gift and will be a huge blessing in her life.

Working to keep their kids in school: Benu* and her daughter Anima*, 6, live in a town in Bangladesh where the risk of child labor and sex trafficking is high. Benu works hard to provide a better future for her daughter, and she sends her to a Save the Children-supported school so Anima can learn and achieve her dream of becoming a doctor.

Protecting their children from harm: Amara* and her family fled for their safety after a rocket struck their home in Afghanistan. Just a few months later, her husband died from a heart condition. Then, Amara lost her job when the Taliban took control of the country. Despite these hardships, Amara is determined to do whatever it takes to keep her children safe and healthy, and is able to do so in part by the cash transfers provided to her by Save the Children.

Your support helps provide financial assistance so mothers like Amara can feed their children. It helps provide educational support so that mothers like Benu can send their kids to school. It helps build health centers where mothers like Emily can give birth safely.
