Governor Kemp faced off against failed former senator David Perdue in a series of three primary debates between April 23rd and May 1st.
Governor Kemp went 3 FOR 3 – highlighting his record of delivering results to put hardworking Georgians first and his leadership in our state’s top office to Back the Blue, crack down on crime, secure our elections, and protect our Conservative values.
Governor Kemp clearly demonstrated that he’s the fight-to-win Conservative who’s getting the job done to build a better Georgia, and that he’s the only Republican who can defeat Stacey Abrams (again!) this November. |

After wrapping up a historic legislative session last month, Governor Kemp has signed a number of bills into law over the last few weeks to deliver relief to Georgia taxpayers, put parents and students first, and keep Georgia families safe.
Relief for Hardworking Georgians As Georgia families deal with the impact of 40-year high inflation, Governor Kemp made delivering tax relief a top legislative priority this year – and got the job done!
|
Georgia income taxpayers will receive one-time tax refunds of $250 for single filers, $375 for single filers with dependents, and $500 for joint filers. These credits will add up to more than $1 billion being returned to hardworking Georgians!
Governor Kemp also signed a $1 billion tax cut into law, overhauling our tax code and ultimately implementing a flat state income tax rate of 4.99%, the largest tax cut in state history.
Governor Kemp and the General Assembly also worked swiftly back in March to suspend the state’s gas tax, to provide much-needed relief at the pump. And Governor Kemp delivered on his 2018 campaign promise to exempt military retirement pay from our state’s income tax. |

Empowering Students, Parents, and Teachers Governor Kemp also delivered this year on a number of priorities focused on improving education outcomes and putting parents back in charge of their kids’ health and education. |
He fulfilled his campaign promise to fund the largest teacher pay raise in state history. He led the charge to pass a Parents’ Bill of Rights, to bring greater transparency into what’s being taught in our classrooms, and to remove obscene materials from school libraries. He also signed legislation into law to ban divisive concepts like Critical Race Theory and ensure fairness in girls’ sports, and was proud to get the Unmask Georgia Students Act on the books to let parents decide whether or not their kids are masked in the classroom. |

Keeping Georgia Safe Governor Kemp and the General Assembly took bold action this year to keep our families and communities safe. |
The public safety package Governor Kemp has signed into law advances the fight to end human trafficking in Georgia, toughens penalties for dangerous criminals, creates a new Gang Prosecution Unit in the Attorney General’s office, and ensures the heroic men and women in law enforcement in our state have the critical resources they need to do their jobs. Governor Kemp is also proud to have gotten Constitutional Carry across the finish line, to empower law-abiding Georgians to protect themselves and their families.
Governor Kemp has been officially endorsed by the NRA in recognition of his unwavering leadership to defend our gun rights. |
