I’m reaching out personally to ask for your support and share how your donation today will help us flip North Carolina’s Senate seat.

When we launched this campaign, we set out to try something different than what we’ve typically seen in North Carolina races — because the old playbook just frankly hasn’t worked.

I believe we must run a people-focused campaign that listens to the hopes and needs of everyone — particularly those who have been left behind and ignored by Washington. We’re talking with voters all over this state — from rural communities to big cities, from the mountains to the coast.

We’re proud of the enthusiasm we have seen and the support we have earned so far. But Republicans are spending millions to hold this seat — including one GOP super PAC that already pledged to spend at least $27 million. So we have to be ready to fight back, which is why I’m asking you myself:

Will you please split a $15 donation between my campaign and the Democratic Party of Georgia today? This is a critical moment for us to keep up our momentum.

I’m reaching out to you directly because you understand just how important it is to invest in southern Democrats – and because you also believe that we should elect leaders who will fight for the people, not partisan politics.

I’m running for the same reason I became a judge and the first African American woman to serve as Chief Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court: the pursuit of justice and the belief that everyone should have a leader who will fight for them.

We have to build a truly statewide campaign here in North Carolina that can take on the Republicans and win, and doing that is hard work. But with your continued support, we’ll do just that!
