Mother’s Day is this Sunday, and I want to share an event that’s close to
my heart.

The Louis D. Brown Institute’s Mother's Day Walk for Peace (MDW4P) is a
beloved, 26-year-long Boston tradition and celebration of our ongoing work
to create more peaceful communities.

The Peace Institute is a center for healing, teaching, and learning for
families and communities impacted by homicide, trauma, and grief.

The Mother’s Day Walk for Peace is their largest fundraising event — and
it was where my mom, Sandy Pressley, took her last activist steps.
