National Nurses week starts today.

Nurses are powering STOP THE BLEED® programs at schools, companies, healthcare systems and elsewhere around the country.

Are you a nurse?

If you are a nurse teaching STOP THE BLEED® (or if you know a nurse teaching STOP THE BLEED®), check out the STOP THE BLEED® Training Kit Grant program! The program is designed to supply STOP THE BLEED® Training Kits suitable to be used to teach the hands on, American College of Surgeons, STOP THE BLEED® course and other Department of Defense approved STOP THE BLEED® courses. Grantees will receive one STOP THE BLEED® Training Kit, delivered to their location, free of charge, a $1,000 value.

There are many ways to get involved.

The Coalition is a community of individuals and organizations who are passionate about the STOP THE BLEED® campaign. The Coalition’s goal is to support the growth and impact of the campaign by providing access to information and services to the growing STOP THE BLEED® community as well as financial support to the STOP THE BLEED® Project.

STOP THE BLEED® is a national campaign to encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. It is a public/private partnership led by the Department of Defense and many other stakeholders, including the Stop the Bleed Coalition.
