Two weeks ago, audio was released that captured House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy telling Rep. Liz Cheney that he believed Donald Trump should have resigned following the January 6th Insurrection.

Kevin McCarthy previously denied that he ever said this, but now we have the facts. McCarthy privately tells his wealthy donors that he can fight off the radical Trump faction of his party while publicly bowing down to the likes of Trump, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Lauren Boebert. The tail is wagging the dog in the Republican caucus and we need to stand up to protect our democracy.

Kevin McCarthy is willing to do whatever it takes to become Speaker of the House. We must do everything in our power to ensure we keep control of the House so McCarthy doesn’t become Speaker.
