John -- it looks increasingly likely that the Supreme Court will overrule Roe v. Wade in just a few weeks. I firmly believe that the Senate must act to protect women’s rights, and it must act now. If you’re with me, I hope you’ll donate to help power my work.

If the Supreme Court moves forward with overturning Roe, it will have repercussions in our country like we’ve never seen before. A dozen states have already passed laws outlawing abortion that will trigger the moment Roe is reversed. In many more states, lawmakers will work quickly to pass similar restrictions.

Once that happens, instead of a woman and her doctor making health care decisions, those decisions will essentially be made for her by politicians like Ted Cruz.

We can be outraged by all of this -- but we also have to plan.

The upcoming November elections will be the most important in our lifetimes when it comes to protecting women’s rights. Those of us who support the right to choose must vote like we’ve never voted before to support candidates who will defend reproductive freedom and codify Roe v. Wade into law.

The future of reproductive freedom in our country is on the line. If you’re able, will you contribute now to support my work to protect women’s rights and expand our pro-choice majority in the Senate?
