The Supreme Court is set to overturn Roe v. Wade, which means the right to choose will no longer be federally protected in the United States. This is a devastating development — especially given a recent Arizona law signed by Governor Ducey that would ban abortions, even in the case of rape or incest.

I am unequivocally pro-choice. That's why I voted to pass the Women's Health Protect Act, which will codify abortion rights into law.

Now, I'm calling on the Senate to do the same. Choosing to get an abortion is a private medical decision, and must be protected as such.
