John,
Our political culture has a problem. So many times people look too quickly to
the government for a solution.
Have a problem with the education system? Have the government fix it.
Need to figure out what the truth is? Have the government decide.
Trying to decide what car to drive? Have the government tell you.
Have a state tourism event that lost its sponsor? Have the government pay for
it.
John, defaulting to the government for every solution is reckless and unfair
to taxpayers.
That’s why I’ve made it my mission to change that, and I hope you’ll join me.

When I was governor, the Heritage Golf Tournament, one of the most high
profile events in our state, lost its sponsor.
Some people suggested taxpayer dollars should pay for it. I refused to let
that happen.
Instead of defaulting to the government for an answer and making taxpayers
foot the bill, I worked around the clock to find a new sponsor.
It took a lot of hard work and negotiations, but we saved the event, brought a
huge economic boost to the state, and we did it in a fiscally responsible way.
It’s so important that we change our political culture that looks too quickly
for a government solution. That’s why I’m criss-crossing the nation campaigning
for conservative candidates who will stand up to the Left’s out-of-control
spending and work to solve America’s $30 trillion debt problem.
These candidates need your help to win. That’s why I’m sending a set of
limited-edition Ambassador’s Circle golf balls to every person who donates $35
or more right now to help conservatives win.

A Note From Nikki:
Growing up, smart, strong, and unconventional women were discouraged. When I
ran for office, the South Carolina legislature was dominated by a Good Old
Boys' Club and my opponent thought women shouldn’t be in politics. People
thought I was too brown, too female, too young, too conservative, too
principled. I said: Too bad.
I was inspired by great women who broke barriers and defied expectations,
women like Margaret Thatcher and Jeane Kirkpatrick.
That’s why I wrote this book. "If You Want Something Done..." is set to be
released on October 4. Pre-order your signed copy today to have it shipped to
