The United States is on the verge of denying a person’s right to control their own body.
A drafted majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito shows how the Court’s conservative majority plans to address the growing attack on reproductive rights: by overturning the landmark 1973 decision in Roe v. Wade which protected the right to terminate a pregnancy.
This draft opinion is shocking, devastating, and a blatant assault on reproductive rights.
We must keep abortion access safe, legal, and accessible for all. A person’s right to choose for their own body is sacred, and I will continue to use my power and platform as an elected official to protect that right.
I’m not going to ask you to help my campaign. Instead, will you please show solidarity by helping local organizations on the front lines on this issue?
