Welcome to Stratagem, a live stage show that promises to inform, educate and entertain in approximately equal measure. Wearing a head-mic favoured by TED talkers, market hawkers, TV evangelists, backing singers, and carnival barkers, Alan combines all these roles and more.

Nottingham Poetry festival (NPF) returns with a range of live, and streamed performances, workshops and panel discussions. The festival offers events across the city, from Bulwell Library to Nottingham Playhouse, from Nottingham Canal to Clifton Library with an aim to connect poetry and well-being.
Pop to the Poetry Takeaway on Saturday at Sneinton Market where they will serve up personalised, quality poetry to visitors, performed and wrapped to take away.
On Saturday evening, join the free Poetry Global Party at The Old Cold Store (near Nottingham Station) where Nottingham poets meet poets from around the world in a hybrid poetry party and open mic.

Joelle Taylor's most recent collection of poetry won the T.S Eliot Prize and was the subject of a Radio 4 arts documentary, Butch.Â
The show explores the hidden stories of 1990’s London butch counter culture; through poetry that is imagistic, lyrical, expansive and uncompromising.
Joelle, is joined by Gregory Woods who addresses gay cultural history.
