Thank you so very much for your support of HJTA's effort to collect signatures to Repeal the Death Tax. While we had a very strong showing of over 402,000 signatures (and more are still coming in), we unfortunately did not hit the target of a million-plus signatures by our legal deadline to turn them in to the county Registrars.
Your Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association is considering next steps.

We are very grateful for the commitment and the efforts of more than 13,000 volunteers who took the time to collect signatures and help to educate and inform Californians throughout the state about this important issue.
