There are 11 Democratic candidates who have officially filed in hopes of being our next Senator. Not to mention, there are 21 Republicans and 3 Independents in the race. With a field as crowded as this one in a race as important as the Missouri Senate, we want to ensure that our members have the chance to engage with their prospective endorsees in a meaningful fashion. This means we have to narrow it down.
The St. Louis Young Democrats are planning to move forward with three (3) candidates for consideration in our endorsement.
The chosen candidates will be asked to participate in an endorsement interview open to our membership, in which each candidate will be asked to answer hard-hitting questions regarding their policy positions, background, and values.
You may vote for as many candidates as interest you, however, only the top three vote-getters across our membership will be asked to participate in our formal interview and endorsement process.
