If Roe v. Wade is overturned, abortion could become illegal in Michigan. A 1930s state law would immediately take effect and ban abortion in Michigan the moment this opinion is issued.

- Kevin Rinke said that if the Supreme Court issues an opinion dismantling Roe v. Wade, they will have “acted properly.”
- Garrett Soldano celebrated the news that the Supreme Court seems likely to overturn Roe v. Wade.
But Gov. Whitmer isn’t backing down from this fight. She is ready to fight like hell to defend safe, legal abortion.
