Free Speech and the Islamophobia Narrative: A Conversation with Sarah Haider
This Tuesday, May 10th, Ex-Muslims of North America's Executive Director Sarah Haider will join the AHA Foundation’s Critical Thinking Fellow from the University of Central Florida for a webinar on free speech and Islamic dissent.
The conversation will address the stifling of critical and dissenting voices within Islam in mainstream media and culture, including the lack of attention that ex-Muslim issues and experiences receive. Free and open dialogue must be fostered as an antidote to this culture, a central focus and aim of this event.
