On Monday, we received the surest sign yet that Roe v. Wade will be overturned by the Supreme Court, setting us back decades in the fight for reproductive justice.

How do we fight back? We start by ensuring abortions are still safe, accessible, and affordable for every Iowan. That means re-electing pro-choice Democratic women like Sarah Trone Garriott and Jackie Smith to the Iowa Senate. Will you split a contribution of any amount to their campaigns right away to make sure they can defend their seats?

The Iowa GOP has been working for years to restrict or even outright ban abortion here, and earlier this week our Governor recommitted herself to the effort to restrict private health care decisions. We have a real shot at flipping the Iowa Senate blue and making sure all Iowans retain the right to make their own healthcare choices, and a key part of our plan is re-electing pro-choice champions Sarah Trone Garriott and Jackie Smith.
