The Small Business Development Centers Improvement Act now heads to the Senate. SBDCs helped over 3,000 Mainers and created or protected nearly 1,000 Maine jobs last year alone. If enacted, this bill would help bring SBDC services to even more small businesses in our state and across the country.
Fighting for Maine’s small businesses is personal to Jared. His parents own and run a small business that has been in the family for decades, and Jared spent many summers and weekends growing up mowing grass at the family business. He knows that our small businesses are not just the backbone of our economy here in Maine, they’re our way of life.
