Dear Friend,
Ruth’s List Florida is excited to announce our latest endorsement, Aramis Ayala for Florida Attorney General . If elected, Aramis will make history as the first Black Attorney General of Florida.
Aramis is no stranger to breaking glass ceilings. She was the first Black State Attorney in Florida history and the first woman State Attorney in the 9th Judicial Circuit of Central Florida.
Aramis is passionate about civil rights and has dedicated her life to the pursuit of justice. During her time as the State Attorney of the 9th Judicial Circuit of Central Florida, she worked to build safer and healthier communities, create innovative pre-trial diversion programs, establish new police accountability and oversight reforms, and construct initiatives to support victims of domestic violence.
We’re thrilled to lend our support to Aramis’s campaign for Attorney General. By making a contribution today, you can help ensure she has the resources to win the August primary and the November general election. Donate here [[link removed]] or click on the graphic below.

We’re also excited to share that Aramis will be one of the keynote speakers at our annual She’s the Change Leadership Conference [[link removed]] on Saturday, May 14 in Orlando. If you’re not yet registered, don’t miss this opportunity to hear her and other notable Florida leaders at our annual event.
It’s more crucial than ever that we elect Democratic pro-choice women like Aramis to be a voice for our rights at the state level. Let’s ensure she has the support she needs to win!
Onward,
Kayla vanWieringen, Vice President of Political & Programs
